The highly anticipated Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets is officially rolling out, and Disney has finally revealed the official opening date and the star-studded track list.

The Official Opening Date
Mark your calendars! Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets will officially open on May 26, 2026. The classic launch coaster closed in early March 2026 to undergo its rapid transformation. Its reopening aligns perfectly with the kick-off of the Walt Disney World summer season, promising a massive draw for guests eager to speed through a neon-lit, Muppet-fied Hollywood.
The New Pre-Show and Storyline
The iconic G-Force Records is still the setting, but there is a major change in management. The recording studio is now owned by J.P. Grosse (Scooter’s uncle), and the Electric Mayhem is currently in the booth recording their latest tracks.
During the pre-show VIP tour, guests will encounter the band—Dr. Teeth, Animal, Floyd Pepper, Janice, Zoot, and Lips—who realize they are running late for a massive concert across time. Naturally, you are invited to tag along.
What to expect in the queue and pre-show:
- Familiar Faces: Expect appearances by Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Scooter, and even a few penguins.
- A New Animatronic: Disney has confirmed an all-new audio-animatronic figure of Scooter to guide you through the chaos.
- Muppet Labs Upgrade: You’ll still board a super-stretch limo, but this time, it has been heavily modified by the brilliant (and unpredictable) minds at Muppet Labs.
The Electric Mayhem Official Track List
What is a rock concert without an incredible set list? The Electric Mayhem has teamed up with several legendary artists and pop stars to deliver a soundtrack designed to crank the adrenaline from the launch tunnel to the final brake run.
Depending on which L.I.M.O. you board, you will blast off to one of the following five tracks:
- “Song 2” – The Electric Mayhem (Covering Blur’s iconic high-energy hit)
- “Born To Be Wild” – The Electric Mayhem ft. Camilla the Chicken
- “Love Rollercoaster” – The Electric Mayhem ft. Jennifer Hudson & Questlove
- “Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop)” – The Electric Mayhem ft. Def Leppard
- “Walking on Sunshine” – The Electric Mayhem ft. Kelly Clarkson
Bonus Track: After your high-speed adventure, keep your ears open at the exit. The band will be playing their original hit, “Can You Picture That?”, visible on a screen as they perform their sold-out headline show.
