How to Play Muppet Mastermind

Welcome to the ultimate test of your Jim Henson knowledge! Here is how to take the stage and climb the global leaderboard:

🎭 The Basics

  • Read the Clue: Every round gives you a hint about a character, movie, or detail from the Muppets, Sesame Street, Fraggle Rock, Labyrinth, or The Dark Crystal.
  • Fill the Blanks: Use the on-screen keyboard (or your device’s keyboard) to guess the missing letters.
  • Check Your Answer: Hit the Check Word button to lock in your guess. Correct answers build your streak and earn you big points!

⚠️ Watch Your Step!

  • 3 Strikes and You’re Out: You only get 3 strikes per session. Submitting a wrong answer adds a strike and resets your streak.
  • No Free Skips: Stuck on a puzzle? You can hit Skip, but beware—skipping costs you 10 points and also counts as a strike!
  • The Price of Hints: Need a little help? Click the lightbulb icon to reveal a letter. But be careful: it costs 15 points immediately, and it will reduce your final completion bonus for that word.

🏆 Curtain Call

Once you hit 3 strikes, the curtain closes and your game is over. If you are logged into the website, your official profile name will be locked in to save your score. Aim high, survive the harder levels, and try to secure your spot on the Top 5 Henson Experts leaderboard!
