A tall purple monster whose nervous imagination can turn small problems into big emergencies. Telly worries about just about everything. An unfamiliar situation, a missing object or a plan that changes unexpectedly can send him into a spiral of questions. That anxiety also makes him an unusually sympathetic character because he expresses feelings that many children recognize in themselves. Telly learns to take chances, solve problems with friends and find enjoyment even when an activity does not go perfectly. He is also known for his musical interests and friendships with Baby Bear and others. His earliest incarnation had a television obsession, but he developed into the lovable worrier audiences know today.
