Instead of every battle feeling like a one-and-done vote, we’re starting to turn the whole thing into more of an ongoing Meme Battle ladder.

That means your memes can actually build a bit of a reputation around here.

The updated system now includes things like:

A more competitive ladder-style battle setup
Better tracking of wins and participation
New battle achievements and badges
Badges automatically tied into your Muppet Madness profile
Your battle wins and accomplishments actually follow you around the site
More reasons to keep entering instead of disappearing after one battle
Better recognition for memes that keep winning
More progression and bragging rights

Basically, Meme Battles are becoming less like:

“Here are some memes. Pick one.”

…and more like:

“Welcome to the arena. Try not to embarrass yourself.”

😂

We’ll keep building on the ladder system too, so longtime winners, newcomers, streaks, upsets and ridiculous meme rivalries can all start becoming part of the fun.

If you’ve been lurking around waiting for an excuse to make something stupid, this is probably it.

Fire up Meme Craft, make something questionable, and throw it into the next battle.

May the funniest meme survive.
